What is this "BTW," you say? We're glad you asked! We've crafted a mission statement:
- BTW provides experiences and environments promoting personal and professional growth.
- Each experience incorporates artistic expression, self-reflection, fellowship and accountability as part of the process for personal and professional growth.
- Women seeking to "grow from here" participate in a yearlong membership program tailored to meet their needs and interests.
- BTW connects women who are interested in exploring and discovering how to make their daily life more meaningful and celebratory with artists and holistic practitioners who want to support them in the process.
Our cre8 series of workshops, limited to the first eight women who sign up each time, will provide instruction, materials, meals and fellowship as we learn a fantastic new hands-on artistic or domestic skill from local and regional experts.
Our recre8 series, also limited to the first eight women who sign up, will be led by personal coach Angie Woodrow, who will provide new tools for working through personal and professional roadblocks. Snacks will be provided.
Our actu8 series will be free-for-all git-er-done sessions where you can bring whatever project you need to power through and work on it with (or next to) other women. Organize files, finish a quilt block, write thank-yous, sort through photos, etc., in the comfort and camaraderie of a roomful of friends. Snacks and tools/supplies will be on hand.
There's so much more to tell you about BTW, and that's why we hope you're coming to the first meeting of 2012 on Friday, January 6, from 6:30-8:30pm. Respond with your RSVP, and please bring a friend!
